Good start, but I would choose a particular grade level or range of grade levels. Also, maybe choose a particular subject in school? This will help you focus your essay, especially in five pages. There’s SO much you could say about this topic.

I would revise grammar like this: “Blogs are an important tool for college-level classroom communication because they house key assignments, increase engagement among students and provide the chance for equal participation in an increasingly new journalistic setting.” Also, I have no idea what you mean by “increasingly new journalistic setting. Must be clarified or reworded. Thanks!
