Good start. I would choose a particular type of blog as a focus i.e. a fashion blog, a style blog, a cooking blog, etc. Then, I would complicate the thesis a little bit because those things don’t guarantee someone will get a book deal.

The journey from being a blogger with an idea for a book to a blogger with a book deal is difficult, but includes creating a platform that is the foundation of your writing project, creating relationships with your followers to secure promotional support, being a person who regularly posts to demonstrate reliability, and finding an agent who believes in your project.

Good! I would still consider focusing on a type of blogger i.e. a food blogger who wants to have a cookbook or a fashion blogger who wants a photo book of styles. Also, to cut down on wordiness, I would revise beginning to say, “The journey from being a blogger with a book idea…”
