This article supports one of the points that I made in my thesis. The media has opened up so many doors in society today. Because of technology and social media applications, people all over the world are able to interact with one another. Everywhere I walk, I always see people on their phones. Even when eating with people, people would check their phones multiple times instead of holding a conversation. “Today 73% of American teens use some form of social media, and are known to check their status several times a day.” (McCarthy) It is funny because something that is suppose to make us social is making is unsocial.
